I hope everyone's had a good Christmas!! In between the partying, I've managed to find time to make a few additions to the site in the shape of a dozen new pictures added to the Scans and Other Pictures galleries.

Cat appears in (and on the cover of) the January 2000 edition of The Net magazine.
In an article on fan sites, Cat heads the Top Ten list of TV Presenters on the web!! Unfortunately, there's no hint as to how they worked out the ratings.
Anyway, the whole list is:

Look out for the following Cat TV appearances coming up... The MTV Europe Music Awards is being broadcast worldwide tonight, with Cat and Edith presenting the award for Best UK And Ireland Act. She also co-presents coverage of the awards on ITV with Ant and Dec tonight. Finally, on Sunday there's a special EMA edition of Stylissimo... Enjoy!! Thanks to Simon Tyers for the info!

This week saw the launch of the official SM:TV Live Magazine, available from most newsagents at £1.50 (free whoopee cushion and giant S Club 7/Westlife poster with the first issue!). Unfortunately, there aren't enough pictures of Cat in it!! I've scanned the best ones and put them in the Gallery.

The MTV UK site has been relaunched, and looks a lot better. There are a couple of pictures of Cat on there, which I've added to the gallery.
Added the article and some pics from the November 1999 issue of Minx magazine to the interview and gallery pages.
As you may know, Cat played in the Music Industry Soccer Six charity tournament at Stamford Bridge earlier this year. I've added some pictures from
the official soccer six website to the gallery.
Filled in some of the gaps by uploading missing pictures from earlier magazine interviews.

Apologies for the lack of updates - I've been on holiday for the past month, but I'm back now and have added some new stuff:
The interview and accompanying photo from a recent Heat magazine has been added to the Interviews page. Thanks to Simon for those.
The Gallery page now includes a section for videos - the two MTV "ballsy" publicity vids featuring Cat are there, thanks to Elton.
The links section has a couple of new entries - look out for a major revamp of that page soon!

Cat has been voted Nivea's Body Of The Year 1999. The following report comes from The Newcastle Journal newspaper, 29th July 1999, and there is also an accompanying photo:
Cat purrs over her Body of the Year title
Children's television presenter Cat Deeley yesterday followed in the footsteps of Kate Winslet and Caprice when she was named Nivea body of the Year 1999.
The announcement follows a nationwide vote to find the UK's favourite female body.
Cat, 21, emerged the winner from a shortlist of nine women selected for their healthy physiques and skin including Gail Porter, Anna Friel, Martine McCutcheon, Anthea Turner, Andrea Corr, Melanie Sykes, Donna Air and Adriana Sklenarikova.
The vote consisted of a series of magazine polls and calls to a telephone hotline.
Cat said: "I'm very honoured. It's one of the most flattering awards you can win. My mum thinks it will make me big-headed but she needn't worry.
"Like most women I don't look in the mirror and think that I have a beautiful body but it's nice to know that other people out there think I do."
Nivea spokeswoman Anne-Louise Holland said: "Cat has a fresh, natural appearance and a really healthy complexion that is very much the look for the millenium."
Cat presents Saturday morning ITV shows SMTV:Live and CD:UK with Ant and Dec as well as The Hit List for MTV.

Added the picture of Cat and her brother Max from the March 1999 issue of
Company magazine to the Gallery. She appeared in the 'My Favourite Thing' feature, and named Max as hers:
"We've always been really good mates - he's easy-going, incredibly loyal and very funny. I wanted to get him something really special for his
18th birthday, and as neither of us had been to New York before, I took him there for five days. We had a great time drinking and shopping - he
was definitely the best person to go with. Even though I live in London and he's a student at Leeds University, we still talk on the
phone all the time and he comes to visit me. We have loads of fun hitting the town and going
to parties together. I know we'll always be close."
